RESTORATIVE HEALING WITH MARISA YOUNGBLOOD

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 28, 2023

6:30 - 8:00 PM@ 164 KĪLAUEA AVENUE, DOWNTOWN HILO

An evening of restorative healing ~ How do you resource yourself so that you can be an effective resource to others?

As we settle into the long term support of Maui, we must continue to care well for ourselves — you cannot pour from an empty cup. Join us and special guest, Marisa Youngblood (@wilderingwoman), in an evening of tending to the body and soul in a nurturing space to feel, rest, and heal together as a community. Nourishing tea, yoga nidra (the yoga of rest), and the healing vibration of sound will guide our journey to restoration.

Marisa is a 500hr CRY-T yoga therapist in-training with a focus on culturally sensitive mind/body healing and a trauma and grief-informed background. She infuses evidence-backed somatic practices with Samkhya philosophy for a holistic healing experience.

*Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat, blanket, and/or pillows for support. Extra mats and bolsters provided for those who need them. No yoga experience necessary, yoga nidra simply entails laying in a comfortable position on the mat.

100% of proceeds will go directly to the families who are listed on HELP MAUI RISE.

Sliding scale donation, suggested $45 / person, but please join us regardless of your availability to donate ~ or feel free to donate more, if you can. Space is limited to 12 attendees.
