Discover the magic of working with backyard botanicals and creating your own, one-of-a-kind, (wearable) work of art. In this workshop led by Violet of ‘Botanical Spells,’ students will learn the basics of natural dyeing, sustainable ways to forage, and how to yield vibrant color from specific plants and natural materials found on our abundant island. Through the process of "bundle dyeing," each student will hand-dye their own unique silk scarf to take home.

All workshop materials + 22 x 22” silk scarf + Local / seasonal, floral-inspired pūpū and drinks samples are included. *Please feel free to BYOB + florals + backyard gems.

ABOUT VIOLET: Violet of Botanical Spells is a local botanical dyer and flower grower. She is passionate about creating beauty from plants and all things from Mother Earth. After traveling the world, she felt called to ground down and learn the art of plants and growing flowers, and began her creative business, Botanical Spells. Her textiles are infused with plant magic and are meant to be nomadic, just like the wandering soul.
